As a Caucasian cosmetic doctor whose significant part of practice consists nowadays of Asian patients, I must confess that I needed time and targeted studies in order to understand and treat appropriately my Asian patients.
Asians are not different from Westerners in their pursuit of beauty.
Asians do not go for cosmetic procedures to westernize themselves or try to look like someone else, but mostly they pursue a younger and more beautiful version of themselves. The Asian concept of beauty has often different standards compared to the western countries.

Small face
The V shape face is a delicate face with unpronounced jaw lines and a pointy chin.
To create a V shape it is essential to reduce the masseter size by using muscle relaxant injections.
We then slim, tighten and lift the lower face using the HIFU technology.
Combining these two treatments we have achieved very impressive results.
Balanced Profile
An important aspect of the facial beauty is the balance between the nose, lips and chin.
Asian nose has often an underdeveloped bridge that is easily improved by in room non surgical rhinoplasty using dermal fillers.
One of the most neglected aspects of the facial beauty is the chin. Balancing the chin, nose and the lips has exceptional beauty enhancing effect.
Chin and jawline enhancement can be easily achieved by injecting dermal filler in a 30 minutes, no downtime procedure.
Tight, Lifted face
Facial tightening is very important for Asians.
Skin tightening procedures start comparatively early, late twenties or early thirties.
One of the most common procedures we perform in the young Asians is skin enhancement using special bio-stimulating fillers. Typically two syringes of these special fillers are spread over the whole face to provide skin tightening lasting up to two years.
Starting in mid thirties we perform skin tightening using HIFU (Ultraformer III) which provides the strongest tightening without downtime.
Fractional Radiofrequency (Infini) is often included in the skin tightening Protocol.
Fair Skin/ Flawless skin
Asian skin has special needs: it is more sensitive, gets dry easily and is more prone to acne, pigmentation and keloid scarring.
